Meet The Founder: Shikarni Jane

Hi there!

My name is Shikarni and I am the owner of The Luxe Beauty Bar and  have been in the Beauty Industry for almost a decade now! I started off as a freelance Makeup Artist where I worked backstage at the Townsville Fashion Week, I did the cover of DUO Magazine, I've worked for Lexus on one of their campaign shoots and was a Makeup Artist for the Townsville Eye newspaper pull out.

Since starting my career, I have opened up The Luxe Beauty Bar in November 2020 and have now begun offering Cosmetic Tattooing and Teeth Whitening, along with Makeup. I have also invited some of the best ladies in the industry to join me in the studio whom offer services that I don't personally do myself. 

I hope you love our website and enjoy learning more about the girls in the studio.

Steph is our lovely skin specialist. She has worked for some of the top skin clinics in Australia so she is trained by the best and full of knowledge! She has her own private room in the studio so you can relax while she gets your skin looking the best it has ever looked using Dermalogica.

Holly - Holly's Nails

Holly is our little pocket rocket when it comes to nails. She is talented, quick and such a sweet soul to chat to while you get your nails done! She offers gel, acrylic, hand painted artwork, stickers and many other design options! She can also do your toes while you're here.

Maddie - M&CO Lash & Beauty Bar

Maddie is another one of our lash angels who is specially trained in handmade volume fans! She specialises in soft, fluffy sets and her calm nature will have you ready to relax. She is a jack of all trades and also offers Brow Henna, Lash Lifts and Facial Waxing.

Jodie - Jodie Lordan Aesthetics

Jodie is our incredible cosmetic injector (and registered nurse)! She keeps us looking snatched and is now able to be booked in salon! Specialising in anti-wrinkle, dermal filler and fat dissolving, she will never over inject as she prides herself in her natural looking work.
